SPOTLIGHT: Silent Sales Machine
In each issue I highlight auction related products that I have
reviewed and feel may be of some use to our readers.
My son is heavily involved in eBay selling sports cards and
doing quite well at it.
To help him keep up on the latest methods for making money
with online auctions, I am continually on the lookout for books
covering this subject. Recently, I ran across a real gem titled
'The Silent Sales Machine Hiding on eBay' by Jim Cockrum.
Silent Sales Machine (SSM) is a little difficult to write
a review of, not because it isn't a good book, it's an excellent
book, but it is so concise and to the point and I don't want
to give away any of the great secrets!
Jim's focus in writing SSM is to exploit features of the eBay
auction system in an effort to drive targeted traffic to your
non-auction web site without breaking any of eBay's rules.
Large amounts of targeted traffic is something all web site
owner dream about. The methods he covers for this traffic are
similar to something we experience everyday in our daily travels,
'Impulse Buying'.
While using only auctions and not worrying about search engines,
he is able to get targeted traffic to not only bid on his auctions,
but look at and consider his back-end products.
This is not the only method he discusses in SSM, he also covers
ways to make money without owning your own web site, auction,
or back-end product.
SSM is definitely a unique book in relation to all the other
auction material I have read.
Jim's book is written in Acrobat PDF format and costs $17.95,
which, for the excellent secrets he imparts to you, is well
